diy:: rolled fabric flowers

by Heather on September 28, 2010

found something to do while she’s sleeping
and I’m still not supposed to be pulling out the power tools…
I’ve seen these rolled fabric flowers all over the place.
So not an original idea there.
But I decided to attach them to these headbands.
I bought the bands from Wal-Mart and ripped the ugly
ribbon off of them and replaced with the flower.
I hot glued in place and left some fabric at the end
of the directions shown here-
so that I could wrap around the back of the band too.
I’m thinking I’ll make more of these into magnets,
coat pins, bag embellishments, and maybe hair pins for myself.
Or it’d be really cute to take this idea here
but subsitute the flowers instead. I’m picturing off-white
flowers with an antiqued chain.
What would you embellish with these?
**disclosure**
you will have to bear with me over the girly-girly things..
I’ve waited way too long :)

Cute! I'll have to make some of these up for my little Miss an myself. I wear headbands almost daily and these would definitley "cutesify" them. You little one is a doll! Please, no apologizing for girly-girl. Girls have a way of doing that to even the tomboys of us.
