Hey, how are you?? Are you getting revved up for Spring yet? Ha.. that is like a sick joke. We got SO much snow this week that school was canceled for two days (how do you home schoolen’ Mama’s do it??) Thank goodness for hearty boys who LOVE to play outside!
In the meantime I’ve been loving my projects! Though it seems to be moving at snail pace… can’t wait to share it completed with you! It was inspired by my all time fave. magazine Jeanne de’ arc Living. It is a splurge for me but OH SO WORTH IT. Mom’s, if you aren’t treating yourself to something little (or big!) on a regular basis… I have to say START! I budget my time and money so I can spoil myself a little here and there and HOLY COW! Talk about a whole new awesome outlook on life!! I had an “a-HA” moment this week when I was working on my business dreams and trying to figure out how in the heck I’m going to pull it off with all these kiddo’s and just y’know – LIFE. But then it dawned on me… If I am enjoying the MOMENT, if I am loving the RIDE. If I am truly HAPPY then I CAN take anything in the world on. I can handle being BUSY BUSY. I can handle insanely hard work. I can handle juggling mom and wife and friend and creative biz. I can even handle messing up and then re-adjusting and just y’know, NOT GIVING UP! The only reason is cause I LOVE all of these things. Insanely, madly, deeply, love. Wow, I have no idea where that big ole’ rant came from but thanks so much for letting me get that off my chest!!
Yesterday I took pictures of this HUGE mason jar soap dispenser for the shop. Seriously, how LARGE of a family would it take to need this? Actually I think this woulda been suh-weet in my 16 member fam. Competition was stiff. Food, clothes, socks, shampoo…. oh yeah, we fought over it all! It was great times. This would have been awesome for the shampoo but I’m not sure it would have held up to our surfing in the bathtub… I don’t know how my Mom did it. She is my role model. And actually when I stop to think about it I know that SHE is the one that really shaped my “A-HA”. She’s been the best example to me of how it is absolutely crucial to take time for yourself. She always took time to exercise, get together with friends, do a million projects.. just stuff to keep her happy. If SHE didn’t make the excuse that she didn’t have time for that stuff then I sure as heck know that I’ve got the time too!!
Wow, I feel so lucky !!! What abundance are you embracing in your life RIGHT NOW?

Heather, I’m so glad you are taking time for yourself. We all deserve that. I’m embracing each new day and getting a whole lot of inspiration from just reading your blog. Thanks for all you do.
I love that you wrote this. I know it’s so true, but actually doing it is a different story. You’ve inspired me to “make it happen”.
Love the giant jar soap dispenser and I’m eager to see what you do with those spice jars. It is true that you can accomplish a whole lot if you love what you are doing and have the support of your husband and family. Blessings to you!
Wow, Heather, you are really pumped!! And every right to be so
We all need those “aha” moments in our lives don’t we? If we don’t love what we are doing and in the midst of, why are we there? You gotta love all that God brings your way…He only gives you what He thinks you can handle and no more. For that, we should be thankful, huh?
Keep up the fun blog posts and projects!
I couldn’t agree more.
And I like the part about if you mess up, you try again. And wow, you make a mean lasagna! Thanks so much.
Love your soap dispensers, shippingcoast to Norway?
