Summer's Gifts – PRV Style

by postroad on July 23, 2012

Wahoo! Kicking off my lil vacation and I can already see it’ll be oh-so-fun. Thanks SO much for your support and understanding and over-all awesomeness! Your sweet comments blew me away. I’m the luckiest gal in the world, without a doubt.

Freeing up this time and space in my head has my creative juices FLOWING! It is obvious to me that I need to be MORE INTENTIONAL with my time always… it is SO important to make time for ones self and not just the usual obligations. Moms, this DOES NOT make you selfish, rather it keeps you sane!!

So a stroll through the garden to celebrate was in order… hmmm what is ripe for the picking? How bout Hydrangeas, Zinnias, Cleome, Roses, and feathery Aspargus ferns?

Wouldn’t a mason jar frog vase with fresh flowers make an awesome DIY summer gift?

Did you know I now have printable cards as well as a printable calendar in the shop? I had SO much fun playing with these. I printed them off on regular ole card stock paper and dolled them up a bit with dried lavender from my garden. I am so excited to have these on hand!! Even though I’m taking a break from my online shop till baby all the printable cards and calendars are still available for purchase. You get access to the links 3 times and you can print off as many copies as you’d like! :)

Now, if my memory serves me right I have a ‘way-behind’ Nursery project that needs catchen’ up on… time to get cracking!!

Love your sweet flowers! Looks lovely around there. And my philosophy on gardening is, anytime I can get my husband to help is the right time to expand my gardens! So good luck on your expansion!

Have a wonderful week, sound like you will be having cooler temps coming your way!
