The question I’ll never ask again….
um, no it’s not “are you pregnant?” Though that could certainly be right up there! But there is something else……. which left unchecked can easily bubble up inside of me. Sometimes it takes great strength to deny it and sometimes the joy of life flows over, and drowns it out so easily.
The question is……..
“Why do I never have enough time?” So who exactly decides how much is ‘enough’ time? Time for what, from what? Are our lives getting in the way of our living? The more I think about it, the clearer it becomes.
When life feels busy and overwhelming it is time to step back and ask myself,
“Isn’t this exactly what I wanted?”
“How did I get so lucky to have my life this full?”
“How can I do a better job enjoying and noticing the blessing which literally flow through me each day?”
Oh yes……. I did have videos, beautiful photos, and many dreamy blog posts to share. The loveliest floral headpiece, poor man’s basil, and a room re-do. The thing is…… none of them got out of my head and actually into my camera or even scratched on paper. Inspiring you through this work has been such a learning journey for me. But how can I not practice what I preach?
Step back. Enjoy. Live. Love. Let go of what ‘should be’. Embrace today.
Yes, I do believe our dreams can and will happen. It’s not about beating ourselves up for what is, isn’t, should be, or didn’t. It’s about appreciating the good that is happening right now, so we can attract more of that into our lives.
Today I am celebrating all that is amazing and I wish the same to you!
