Hello friends! How have you been? We’ve been L.O.V.I.N.G. all this sunshine (even though it’s still FREEZING and we can’t keep up on the wood supply…. and the cost of propane right now is INSANE… anyone else dealing with that? I’m pretty sure we’ll be chopping up pallets this week just to avoid getting the ole gas man over here again… so much for all of the projects I was going to be building from them!)

So I digress….. I FINALLY have gotten my act together and begun holding classes in my home again! We are in the middle of building benches, similar to this one I created the other week. Any locals interested in doing a last second class at the end of this month? Just contact me if you are and I will get you the details. Most likely we will be building bookshelves similar to the one my gal-who-is-wishen-for-summer is painting…. yes, most of us have been walking around in our swimsuits and shades here because we are pulling out all of our summer duds to get our act together for a trip to FL! Wooohooo! This will be no disney-infested affair either (though nothing against that, just not my thing). We are staying with a friend and also camping for six nights. So lots of adventure (aka bug bites and sunburn! ┬álol), outdoors, sunshine, bike rides, and yes…. plenty of rest and relaxation too!! Sounds like JUST what the doctor ordered….. so if you happen upon a rusty van-mobile loaded to the kilts with kids and hopefully a few essentials too, you will know what is going on :)

Also, a HUGE THANKS to all who have signed up for the Handmade Beauty Natural You e-course!! I am so excited about this….. and so inspired! I have been diving into (more and more!) all things homemade for my body….. so refreshing and natural and yes, I am one of those people who get real satisfaction knowing where and what I’m using/wearing/eating has come from….. I am FAR from perfect at this, but when you actually enjoy doing it and learning new things and ways to help you mind, body, heart it is SO WORTH the extra effort. If learning how to make body products naturally in your kitchen is something that interests you, check out the details here… it starts on Monday!

I hope you are all having a great weekend!!

xoxoHeather

My son works for a propane dealer and they can’t believe the prices. Hopefully they will come down soon, the only bright side of this is that no one is buying propane like they used to, so hopefully that will help drive prices down. Hope it comes down fast for everyone who has to heat with propane! Can’t bear to think of it!

Enjoy that sunshine! Makes things a little more tolerable, warmer temps are on their way.

We had a propane powered system right after we bought our place out in the country. After one month of running ONE of the outdated heat pump units (to heat half our house), we went through about $600 of propane. After that, we survived with space heaters and the little propane fireplace we had in our living room at the time.

I live in Texas, and even we have experienced colder than normal temperatures this winter. I’m so ready for warmer weather!

I thought I was the only one with absolutely no desire to do Disney! I’ll skip Vegas too. Your photos are gorgeous. What beautiful light you have!
