About
Welcome to Post Road! My name is Heather Anderson, the owner of Post Road Vintage, mom to 5 lil kiddos, and wife to one very patient guy!

| I believe when we create a home for our story to shine, our souls to rest, and our families to come together, life is simpler… and better. I am inspired to help you create this warm and safe spot in your own heart and home. My goal is to help you find joy and creativity in life’s perfect imperfections and to inspire you to create a home that is a reflection of you. {Beautiful + Unique}
I LOVE the simplicity and beauty found in farmhouse living so much of my work is inspired by this. I am also inspired by nature, old houses, and anything with a history. I don’t believe in perfection so I design all my items around this mantra. I am all about embracing the simple, pretty, and good.What about you? What inspires you? Do you also love farmhouse decorating?Let me know! I’d love to meet ya! Other randomness about me: I LOVE food. I am the oldest of 14 kids. I love to read. My ‘big helper’ (the oldest) just went to kindergarten. I love to dream. I love my garden. I have a newborn baby in heaven. I miss her.
You can read more about ‘my journey’ here. Read about my home here.

Came across your blog AND etsy shop just recently. Love your creations with the blue glass jars and your coat/hat racks. Isn’t Annie Sloan paint and waxes just THE BEST? I’ve painted several small items now with the Old White using both white and dark waxes on vanity stools, small tables and chairs. I’m getting ready to paint a large piece that could be used as a headboard in the Paris Grey with the white wax. Just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so I can paint outside
Your table is fabulous that you painted with Annie Sloan paints/waxes.
Hey, Heather, I love seeing how you decorate your home. But I am compelled to answer your question: No. I don’t. Love decorating. I asked my kids, “Would you rather have pictures on the walls, or would you rather be allowed to do headstands on the couch?” (I asked this, because every picture I have EVER put on my walls has gotten kicked down, or knocked down by basketballs or such, and the frames and glass smashed.) Maybe someday.
Too funny Mari! My boys are getting bigger which means more mass = more destruction! I try to stick to garage sale and thrifted decorations that don’t break the bank (or my heart!) if they break! But when the baby learns to walk.. watch out
Being a transplanted Midwesterner living in Southern California, I love and long for farmhouse style. Your artistic eye captures it beautifully.
Blush* Why thank you Deborah! I’m glad you’re here

Hi Heather, great meeting you in our photo class, i love your blog and I love those soap dispensers! I’ll be back soon, I’m just hopping by to say hello to everyone! COe see me, lillyslace.blogspot.com!
Hi! I purchased two soap dispensers that goes on top of a jar at a craft show you were at. One fits and the other does not. How can i exchange it?
Hey Beth,
Sorry about that!
Are you using the same type jar for both lids?
Some of the (very) old canning jars have less threads which can cause this problem.
Have you tried it on other jars?
But yes of course that is no problem to return. Send me an email and we’ll make a plan to meet
